Skills Parks & Pump Tracks in Niseko

From balance bikes to flow lines

Niseko has skills areas at each of the major bike park bases, plus a few standalone pump tracks worth the trip. Together they cover every level, from balance-bike kids to riders sharpening their cornering.

At the bike parks

Twin Peaks Skills Centre sits at the base of Twin Peaks Bike Park, with a beginner-friendly skills area and a balance-bike loop for the youngest riders. Free to use. New wooden features were added during the 2025 Trail Days build.

Grand Hirafu Skill-up Area sits at the Hirafu base, a practice course with Mt Yotei in view and resort staff on hand for first-timers. Free to use. grand-hirafu.jp

Hanazono Skills Park is part of the Hanazono bike park opening summer 2026. The Forest Loop area will progressively grow into a skills area with alternative lines for progression.

Standalone pump tracks

Tomo Playpark Pump Track in Akaigawa, around 30 minutes from Niseko, is the area's proper Velosolutions track. The wider Tomo Playpark site has camping and other activities on the property, easy to turn into a weekend trip. Paid entry to the pump track, helmet rental on site. playpark.akaigawa-tomo.com

Rhythm Japan Skills Park at the Rhythm main store in Hirafu Village has a modular pump track that's free to use. A full skills park is being built.
