NAMBA Strava Competition: Race for the Title of King and Queen of the Mountain
Join us for an exhilarating season-long Strava contest at Twin Peaks Bike Park, where you can compete to earn the prestigious titles of King of the Mountain (KOM) and Queen of the Mountain (QOM). This competition is open to all riders, from budding young cyclists to seasoned adults, with categories for both children and adults.
What’s a Strava Segment Challenge?
Strava is a popular GPS tracking app that enables cyclists to participate in a self-timed, semi-virtual race. During this contest, participants will compete on a designated “Segment” – the lower section of the Easy Ryder trail. Your times will be recorded using any GPS-enabled device, and you’ll need to set your Strava privacy settings to “public” to participate. Aim to climb the leaderboards by improving your time throughout the season!
Competition Details:
- Eligibility: The competition is open to all riders except for NAMBA staff and members of the affiliated trail team.
- How to Participate:
- Download the Strava app onto your GPS device (smartphone, smartwatch, etc.).
- Record your rides on the Easy Ryder trail segment.
- Make sure your ride data is set to public on Strava to ensure your times are eligible for the competition.
Prizes:

Prize Collection:
- Prize Retrieval: Winners must collect their prizes in person at the closing event. Attendance at the closing event is essential to claim your prize.
- Proxy Collection: If you are unable to attend the closing event, you must nominate a delegate to collect your prize on your behalf. Please inform us in advance about your delegate to facilitate smooth prize distribution.
Prize Announcement:
Winners will be celebrated and announced during the closing event in the last weekend of October. With the whole season to refine and improve your times, every ride counts. Bring your best to each attempt and you might just end the season crowned as King or Queen of the Mountain!
