Hanazono Mountain Bike Park NAMBA's 2026 Build
Operational
Niseko's First Lift-Served Blue, Top to Bottom
NAMBA is building Hanazono's first mountain bike trails. Other resorts in Niseko have lift-served downhill, but only on advanced black trails or runs with black sections mixed in. Hanazono is the first park where intermediate riders can ride lift to base, top to bottom.
Phase 1 is now open with a 4,400m blue flow trail running top to bottom, plus a skills park at the base. We're already planning what comes after.
Growth Timeline
2024
Masterplan pitched
In late 2024, NAMBA shows Hanazono the regional masterplan and makes the case that now is the time to invest in mountain biking and join the connected network.
2025
Permitting + first kilometre
Hanazono spans many landowners and forest types, so permitting takes most of the year. The first 1km of the flow trail is built by the end of the season.
2026
Phase 1 opens · 5.8km
The 4.4km lift-served flow trail and the 1.4km forest loop open as Phase 1 in summer 2026. Build continues after the opening: half of the next blue trail, more progression lines turning the forest loop into a proper skills centre, and a green loop trail at the top of the Hana1 lift. Planning for next year's expansion gets underway too.
