Soil Searching Niseko 2024

Specialized’s Soil Searching event returns to Niseko for a second year. This edition shifts focus to hands-on trail building, feature crafting, and maintenance with the NAMBA crew.

What’s included

• Limited edition Soil Searching t-shirt, only at this event.
• Specialized rental bikes, first-come, first-served.
• Trail building instruction from the crew building Twin Peaks.
• Lunch on Day 1, Pow Bar energy bar, stickers, and a beer at the evening party (adults only).

Schedule

• Day 1, dig: trail and feature building, lunch provided, evening party at Rhythm Hirafu. Family-friendly activities for kids.
• Day 2, ride: ride the trails and features built the previous day. Group rides with Specialized ambassadors.

Itinerary

Day 1 itinerary:

9:00am	Registration at Rhythm Hirafu
10:00am	Introduction talk – learn about the project and about the Specialized Soil Searching program
10:30am	Trail building – hands-on work in the bike park, helping NAMBA and Specialized complete trails within the park
12:30pm	Lunch – NAMBA has prepared lunch for all participants
1:30pm	Trail building – hands-on work in the bike park, helping NAMBA and Specialized complete trails within the park
4:00pm	Pack down – a good time for a shower and a nap before the afterparty!
5:00pm	After party at Rhythm Hirafu – join us for beers and bites at the Rhythm Hirafu!
8:00pm	Event ends

Day 2 itinerary:

9:00am	Come grab a pre ride coffee at Rhythm Hirafu
9:30am	MTB trick show by Specialized Pro rider Yuki Kishi and Q&A
10:00am	Group rides – organized rides with Specialized’s pros and the team building the Twin Peaks Bike Park
11:00am	Free ride – a chance to ride the trails at your leisure
4:00pm	Event ends
