ezobike Funduro at Annupuri
A three-stage funduro at Niseko Annupuri on 23 September 2026. Timed descents for school kids through adults, with the gondola doing all the climbing.
ezobike and Annupuri host a funduro on the Autumn Equinox holiday, with school kids and their parents racing the same three stages, and access via the gondola.
How a funduro runs
Three timed stages, roughly two minutes each, with untimed transfers between them. Stage one drops from the summit gate to the first lift off-ramp, stage two runs down to C3, and stage three finishes just above the forest.
Categories run by school year, starting at grades 1 and 2, and anyone junior high age or older races as an adult. Every category is split by gender.
Who it suits
The course is set for intermediate and advanced riders. Helmets and protectors are mandatory, and ezobike asks you to sort out your own sports injury cover before the day.
Signing up
Entry is a Google Form linked from the ezobike page, and it closes at 9:00pm on Tuesday 22 September. Fees are cash at the venue, so bring exact change. A gondola ticket is separate.
What ezobike asks on the hill
This is a grassroots race run on respect ahead of speed. The rider coming from behind owns the overtake, and everyone gives the kids space. Bad weather or a wrecked course can shorten or cancel the day.
The gondola at Annupuri runs to 12 October, but not every day, so check their schedule before you count on a lap. Twin Peaks stays open to the end of the month, and a few events are still to come before the snow.
