Akaigawa Pump Track reopens

Akaigawa Tomo Playpark’s Velosolutions pump track reopens on Saturday 1 June 2024 after a multi-year closure. New asphalt surface, suitable for BMX, MTB, skateboards, and kickboards.

A grand opening race event runs on Sunday. The same weekend as Twin Peaks Bike Park’s season opener, so it pairs well with a weekend trip; you can camp at Akaigawa Tomo Playpark and ride both venues.

Unlike the 2021 version, the course can’t be lapped continuously: riders walk back to the start after each run. Check the usage instructions, sign the agreement, and pick up a wristband at reception before riding.

No rental bikes for the 2024 season.

Opening hours

Weekdays 11:30am to 5:00pm, weekends and holidays 10:00am to 5:00pm. 2-hour or full-day passes available.
